AI functions on Redmenta - The intelligent assistant

We believe that teachers will always be crucial in education. Why? Because while AI is an amazing opportunity, it is by no means a replacement for a teacher. It cannot create or teach by itself, it needs the human touch very much so. If you create content with AI, it's still essential to check its work because sometimes it makes mistakes. For example, it sometimes sets wrong solutions as correct and correct ones as wrong. It sometimes happens that there is a content error in the generated task too. This is not a huge problem, as long as you check the AI's work and make sure it is correct. Using AI to create tasks can save a significant amount of time, from research to task creation and student engagement.

Please be aware that the AI is a language model and is not intended to replace Google or other similar tools. It cannot precisely judge the credibility or correctness of the material, so you play a very important role in providing information to it. Additionally, the AI works best when the instructions are given in English, although it can still perform well in other languages.

Some technical notes:

• When creating a worksheet with AI, the source material that the AI will work from can only be a maximum of 3000 characters.
• The AI-generated worksheet will automatically create and add 10 tasks to your worksheet. However, technical issues such as system overload or insufficient material provided to the AI may cause it to create less tasks.
• It's important to check all created tasks (not only in terms of content but also scoring and solution settings).
• When using the AI Chat task, students can only ask or answer up to 5 rounds of questions with the AI.
• When working with an AI chat task, it is important to always check the student's thought process by reviewing their fill-out. This includes how they solved the task and collected information. We also encourage you to manually evaluate their fill-outs, so even a partially correct answer can be appreciated.
